the price of gas keeps going up,i think i'll take up walking.
from washington relief is heard,but all i hear is talking.
and everytime i shop at stores,each item rose a nickel.
what can we do were in a jam,or just a proverbial pickel.
opec 7 sets the price,sometimes i think their gouging.
and refinerys say their booked up,while ceo's are lounging.
i've got to drive to stay alive,i cant walk everywhere.
so to the pumps i fill er up,whilst in my underwear.
